Professor Joey Solis of Grappling Grounds has achieved significant success in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Huntington Beach, CA. With 20 years of training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, he earned his black belt in 2016 under Professor Evaldo Lima, who is a Black Belt under UFC legend Royce Gracie. In addition to his Jiu-Jitsu expertise, Joey Solis is a California Community College All American Wrestler and a member of the Rio Hondo California State Championship Team, where he was coached by Wrestling Hall of Fame members Ken Bos, John Rosales, and Lyndon Campbell—true California legends. Joey Solis brings a wealth of wrestling experience to his teaching, coaching at the high school and college level, and running a successful kids' program while also promoting self-defense in Huntington Beach, CA, and Fountain Valley, CA.
